In this article, we will look at an easy way to implement your first action plan using the Officevibe results.
STEP 1: Understand your Team Engagement
The Engagement Score comes from the answers given in the last 90 days. The surveys are automatically sent by Officevibe and personalized for each employee in your Team (The Science Behind Officevibe). Each employee has the same weight in the calculation.
You can easily identify common trends, areas of strengths, and opportunities for improvement (Reports & Engagement Summary).
Officevibe displays the aggregation of how employees have responded in the Survey - anonymously of course! This provides you with an in-depth understanding of how your team is doing across all dimensions. By clicking on View breakdown in blue, you will have access to the details of each metric.
STEP 2: Filter the Feedback
Analyze Feedback closely; Comments left by your employees in relation to these Metrics will be your best source of learning in terms of what employees want and what you can do to improve things. You will be able to outline the top issues, as well as recurring ones, from analyzing this Feedback.
Each piece of Feedback will be automatically labelled with a 'Positive' or 'Constructive' tag to help you interpret your Feedback.
STEP 3: Brainstorm with the Team and Set a Team Goal
Send a Custom Poll using one of the Officevibe Templates and discuss the results with your Team. Meeting with your team to discuss your Officevibe results is key - We recommend doing so monthly. Being transparent about what your strengths are as a team, as well as what needs to be improved, is important. The goal is to find solutions together.
Science has proven that effective goal-setting requires Managers to frame Team Goals that are actionable, measurable, and focused. You will be able to follow-up with each employee in your next 1-on-1.
STEP 4: Set Regular 1-on-1's
1-on-1 meetings are amongst the most important tools a Manager has, and one of the best ways to ensure high individual and team performance. They help build trust, align Individual and Team Goals, discuss mindsets, and maintain open communication based on transparency.
Get closer to your team: Master your 1-on-1's.
