The 10 key metrics of Engagement
Our metrics are based on decades of studies and backed by organizational development theories endorsed by globally renowned thought leaders Deloitte, Gallup, Aon, and more. The 10 Key Metrics presented below have the highest impact on the Engagement of your employees.
The Recognition Metric represents both the quality and the frequency of recognition employees receive.
The Feedback Metric represents both the quality and the frequency of feedback that employees receive, as well as the consideration of their opinions and suggestions by the organization.
The Happiness Metric represents the employees' level of happiness at work and their satisfaction with their work-life balance.
The Personal Growth Metric represents the level of autonomy employees have, whether or not they’re improving their skills and if they believe in the bigger purpose of their role.
The Satisfaction Metric represents how satisfied employees are with their compensation and benefits, their role inside the organization, as well as their overall work environment.
The Wellness Metric represents the level of stress employees feel at work and how they perceive the organization's efforts towards promoting healthy life habits.
The Ambassadorship Metric represents the level of pride employees have towards the organization and if they would recommend their place of work to other people.

The Company Alignment Metric represents how employees align themselves within the organization’s vision, mission, and values, as well as what they think about the organization’s commitment towards Ethics & Social Responsibility.
To provide an in-depth understanding of your team's feelings, each Metric contains a set of Sub-metrics, ensuring the most accurate view of your data.
In every survey, your employees receive a set of questions related to the Sub-metrics. The answers to these questions are taken into account to calculate the Metric score. Each weighted Metric then helps us calculate your team's overall engagement score.
Every score is calculated based on the responses of the last 90 days. In Officevibe lingo, we call this "the rolling 90-day average".
Each employee has the same weight when we calculate the score at the sub-metric, metric, team, organization level. If an employee has chosen to answer more survey questions than Officevibe requires, it will increase score reliability as more data points will be included in the Metric scores. If an employee answers the same question twice, we will only take into consideration the most recent answer.

We've created a database of 120 science-based and interactive questions. The Officevibe questions measure how employees feel based on the 10 Key Metrics of Engagement, which represent the 10 most important dimensions of life at work.
Each survey is generated by Officevibe automatically and sent based on the Personal Settings of each employee. The number of questions included in a survey will change based on the Survey Frequency decided by the Administrator of your account.
A Pulse Survey implies that we are measuring the same things frequently. This means that Survey questions will come up again every ±3-4 months because it’s important to be able to measure change and notice trends for every Metric.
In order to paint an accurate picture of your organization or team as a whole, employees will not be receiving the same survey questions. This helps provide you with a complete picture of your team and also helps protect employee anonymity (Click here for more on Officevibe & Anonymity).
