Here's a guide to help add and manage the Slack integration with Officevibe

1. Setting up your Slack integration as a new customer

1.1 Install the bot

Click the following button

 

Then, select your Slack team

You can now authorize the bot

That's it, Leo is now in your Slack team!

1.2 Select a Slack channel

The last step is to choose a Slack channel to start using Officevibe. Leo will send a message to the channel mentioning what Officevibe does. Through a private message, Leo will also send employees their first survey.

1.3 That's it, you can now take a look at your dashboard!

When the first employees answers their first survey, you will receive a Slack notification. Your Officevibe account trial is now officially started.

2. Setting up your Slack integration with an existing account

2.1 Install the bot

Go to this page :  https://app.officevibe.com#/integration/slack and click the "Add To Slack" button.

Follow the steps 1.1 to 1.3 of the above section

2.2 Link Officevibe users with Slack

Make sure that every Officevibe user is linked to their Slack account. When a user is linked, every message will be sent through Slack instead of email. The users must have the same email in Slack and Officevibe.

 

2.3 You're all set, no more emails for your employees!

Instead of getting emails with the surveys and notifications, employees will now get Slack messages

 

3. Inviting new users from Slack

Once the integration is complete, you can invite users on Slack directly from the invite page.  

3.1 Choose Slack users

You can invite a list of people by searching them by their Slack username. 

3.2 Post Invitation to a Slack channel

You can invite a complete Slack channel in a click. Simply select the Slack channel to invite. An introduction message will be sent to the channel.

Once an integration is added, you can edit the settings so everything gets managed automatically

4. Synchronize Users

4.1 Synchronize

As people get added in your Slack account, they'll get invited automatically in Officevibe. When someone leaves the Slack account, they'll automatically get deactivated in Officevibe.

4.2 Users

 You can select which employees should be invited to join Officevibe. You can invite everyone who's part of your Slack account or select channels. 

4.3 Groups

You can connect the groups created in Officevibe with a Slack channel. That way, if people get added or removed from a channel, it will edit automatically in the Officevibe groups.

Note: Make sure the groups are created in Officevibe to be able to see them in the options.

5. Survey Delivery

Instead of having emails sent to employees, you can opt for Slack notifications. 

Note: If someone's email doesn't match in Officevibe and in Slack, questions will be sent to the user's email instead, which is the default for Officevibe. 

6. Feedback Notifications

If you don't want to miss any new pieces of feedback coming in, you can have them posted to a channel. Simply select the channel where you'd like to see the feedback get posted.
